Tapestry of Words.

Goldfinch60

The words go onto the page,

Gliding in the ink

As they form on the vellum

Like diamonds from the sky

Bringing beauty into life

For people to read

As they see

The gold in your words

Flowing like a tapestry clinging to the world.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Yesterday on Neville's poem Vermeil the comment that I wrote was "The gold in your words flows like a tapestry clinging to the world." He said that I should write a poem around those words before somebody else does - well here it is.

Indeed they do, having been chosen with feeling totally suited to the emotion. Gaudy bright colours are not to be found here for the sincerity of content alone is the writers intention.

So true d a, subtle colours flow from the mind.

We're in the Bayeux Tapestry, of course! Or did they airbrush me out for mucking it all up?!

        Thanks Orchi.

No they didn't airbrush you out, they asked me if you should be included, I said not not this time but maybe when they doe the next one.
