Tune & Hymn: 'Make way, make way'
Luke 3 v.4-6
********
John Baptist, voice of one crying
Words he does bring
In wilderness, he says , Prepare
All in this share
Chorus
Make the Lord's way (echo - Make the Lord's way)
Straight, level today (echo - Straight, level today)
Make the Lord's way (echo - Make the Lord's way)
Even, and watch and pray
Every valley it shall be filled
Pride, it be stilled
Every mountain, hill be brought low
It shall be so - Chorus
Crooked places shall be made straight
Delay not late
And the rough places be made smooth
Comforts shall soothe - Chorus
All flesh shall see the salvation
Every nation
Salvation of God, Christ His Son
The Promised One - Chorus

You should have a choir perform your pieces Orchidee.
Where can i learn more of john the baptist?
There may be a book you can read d a, I am sure you may be able to find one somewhere, can’t remember it’s name though, I believe there are various versions and interpretations of it.

Thanks dusk.
It would have to be a Choir, or traditional church. Some places don't know what a hymn book is, only 'Choruses' on screen instead. One church did not sing any of my offerings, It was not where they were "at", I was informed. Not just because of that, but I've parted company with them now. I felt a bit 'what the f....'.Last word Fido won't let me say!
They have a nerve. They had their own squabbles in their 'informal Choir'. A musician there, I cruelly refer to as 'Mad Matt'. He'll break that keyboard one day, hammering away at it'.
You knows of JB! Starts with B..... (Bible) and a Concordance is handy too. In parts of the Gospels mainly.
