THAT MY ILLNESS BE SCOFFED AWAY NIMBLY

 

WHERE JEHOVAH NISSI

GOD, THE BANNER 

FOR HIS CHERUBIM AND FLAMING SWORD WILL GUARD ME ALL WAY 

 

I YEARN FOR JEHOVAH SHALOM

HIM THE LORD OF PEACE

HIS HARMONY BEFRIENDS ME AND TROUBLES BEGONE

 

SHOW ME  JEHOVAH ROHI

LORD THE GOOD SHEPHERD

HE WILL LIE ME DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES BESIDES THE STILL WATERS

 

TAKE ME TO JEHOVAH TSIDKENU

HIM THE PEOPLE'S RIGHTEOUSNESS

I WILL BE NOT GUILTY ANYMORE

 

SHOW ME JEHOVAH SHAMMAH

THE ONLY REAL LIVING GOD

I WILL WORSHIP HIM ALWAYS AND FOREVER

 

SHOW ME NOT THE PROPHET AGAIN

THE APOSTLE NOR THE MAN OF GOD

I NEED TO SEE GOD AND MY SALVATION SHALL PREVAIL.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is in contrary to these contemporary men of God strategically making people remunerate them for the works of God, they proclaim their presence and prayer s to right everything so that we think them mighty and forget the force behind them and indirectly worship them. But there is a God in heaven, He works everything okay, He loves all and sundry. Men of God should then point us to Him and we will be okay, hence "show me God".

    My word, you've really been sucked into this religion con by the look of things. Don't forget the gospels are man made things and the churches were set up to gain control of people. Mind you, all that was back in the days when the earth was flat of course.
    Free your mind and you'll realise god is all around you.

    This is the reply I wanted D.A. "God is all around you". That's what my writing was asking for, trying to get rid of people between us and God so that we feel his presence by ourselves.

    Good write Amon. Yet there are prophet, priests, etc to show us the way to God.
    Though part of the New Covenant/New Testament is: 'They shall not teach each other, saying, "Know the Lord", for they shall all know me'.
    I think this means, not that we never need teachers, but that we don't have to depend on people as intermediaries, to 'get to God'.

      We still need them only to lead us to Christ, hence "show us God"

      ANGELA & BRIAN HERE ~ WOW AMON ~ This is a really beautiful Poem - reminding us of some of the *Titles of GOD* and the provision they provide 24/7 ~ AMEN ! Provisons - Healing - A Banner - Peace - A Good Shepherd - Righteosuness - A Living Eternal God etc etc ! These are seven things we need 24/7 to enable us to Shine as Lights in a Dark World and to be Comforters to everyone in this Global Pandemic ! BRIAN & I are EVANGELICALS and our experience is that we can commune with GOD anytime any where ! WE dont need no Church or Priest to Pray. We are filled 24/7 with the Holy Spirit - SO - WE pray in the Spirit in the Name of Jesus as the Bible Teaches ~ AMEN ! Thnaks for caring & sharing !

        Man made religion is a farce and is like politics getting people to do things and believe in things that do not exist.
        God is there but it is your god not the one create by others to lead you astray.
