Womb, bear a son, free from sin

For God His heavenly Father be

This revealed by Him to me - Chorus

 

And you shall call His name JESUS

A Saviour unto all of us

He shall be great, Son of Most High

God's Son come to mankind nigh - Chorus

 

The Lord God shall give Him the throne

Of David His ancestor known

And He shall reign for evermore

No end of His kingdom sure - Chorus

  • Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in: Verses: 8.7.8.7. Chorus: 6.8.6.7. I can't complain about Choruses much, as I use them too! As an excuse, I could call them 'Refrains'. But it's endless repetition of the same, short 'Chorus-type' songs, with not much meaning, that can drive you mad!
