dusk arising

He walked five years into his future after goodbye.
Back then the celebration of hello was the sweat
of nights in one another's arms and wasted days.
The street had been opportunity where he thrived
and the prize was now.  How he now saw it all.

    Nice Dusk.

So much understanding of the past can be seen in the now.

As for the music, where did that time go it was amazing listening to that and you were right it needed listening to the end but even then it just faded out, great musician and great jazzer - another one on my list to look into.

That first album by steps ahead (careful, it's also the name of a yukky pop group) was exceptional. The follow ups were vv good but not on the same level for me. Saxman Michael Brecker (dec) was generally thought to be the absolute master of the tenor sax. His ability was amazing but i can't say i was wowwed by his compositions..... worth exploring though and making your own mind up.

I think my poem was a bit too abstract for most in this instance LOL.
