I will not let you down, I will not let you sleep under the depressing silence of the dreadful nights.
I will not let you down, I will not let you feel lost amid the appalling darkness of the streets.
I will not let you down, I will not let you taste the bitterness of the grim loneliness.
I will not let you down, I will not let you feel confined behind the bars of disdain and contempt.
I will not let you down, I will not let the wounds of your soul bleed, and keep watering your thorny black trees.
I will let my bleeding wounds hug yours, and all your pains into my pains will be flooded with relief.

May that relief always be given Samer. Good words.
Andy
Thank you so much, it is mainly about the pleasure and the enjoyment we receive when we help and support the individuals who are in difficult and depressing circumstances.
Good write Samer.
Thank you so much, may God enable all of us to be a genuine relief for others.
Yes, in what we can do. In my earlier rant, this may not mean giving even more towards buildings. I'm not fussy about supporting 'things' - building projects, etc - though I suppose they help people in the end.
I regret now, giving the cost of a couple of bricks worth. The money could have been better spent by me.
I understand, I'm sure you have been trying to make deliberately and carefully considered decisions in this domain as hard as you could.
I simply had to say 'Nope' - I could not commit to a 3 or 5 year pledge.
