Justify

Aa Harvey

Justify

Look at all you happy people in your stupid hats!

I hate all you happy people, who think it is fun to dance.

I can’t sing, so I don’t do karaoke,

What you think of that?

I just do not give a damn.

I think I dislike everybody, but I am giving you a third chance.

Go on and impress me or go ahead and truly detest me,

For speaking my mind to you directly.

It’s nothing personal, you just cause my apathy.

Your music sucks and I have had enough,

Of just trying to be just.

I don’t need to explain, my melting brain,

Which thinks that you are just a stain,

Upon this life, like dirt, you lie,

And in the dirt is where you will remain.

and where exactly do you presume 'you' will 'remain' oh 'enlightened sentient' of all-things warped: dreary, bleak and fear derived to infantile notions from self-justifying coercive fatalism of shared pathological thought's...
lol, you're so cute, with your hands still outstretched 'after all these years' screaming, love me, want me, See Me!
we do, we just moved-on from that entitlement fuelled self-indulgent, whingey victim mentality - a long, long time ago,
when we 'blinkered' few realised: what you will too - someday,
cry all you want, but life operates best when we actualise our own fates!
see there's no conveniently 'free' to answer your call for help, unless you reach-out - willingly and seek that help, waiting on you to value your own self: first,
then we too - can intrust a part of ourselves in your cause...
we live in a shitty world, yup how profound your realisation's read, truly how useful all that insight you spew... lol
lol thanks for sharing your entertainingly impassioned writes,
hopefully I matched your strain of vehemence in my pitiful words of this scribbled reply I'm certain you'll detest,
sincere apologies in advance if my take on reality upsets your sensibilities dear Poet, keep that mighty Pen flowing!
