I Long For That Plane of Existence

Poem by ink

I long for that plane of existence

Where pleasure meets dismay and my energy resonates

But these are mere mirages

Any fool with eyes could see

Where i am headed is no place to be

My spirit is caged yet i believe i am free

For these veins pulsate through my skin so easily

Since then my days have never been the same

I just sit on a clock counting my days

LOL at favouriting your own poem when you haven't bothered to read any other poems on here (your public profile shows that). Best advice you can get is to read other peoples poetry, I know that doing that certainly improved my scribblings and secondly - keep writing.
Anyway, you certainly have poetic talent. Welcome to PTS. This place works best if you read and comment upon other peoples poetry (feel free to throw sticks at anything of mine) and in doing so you'll build up relationships and friendships with other poets.

Erm, yes, I suppose we can favourite our own poems as well as others!
      A fine write.

Those days are full of moments and every moment in your life is special as they will not come again. Enjoy every moment.
Your words are fine, keep going.

      Welcome to MPS.
