The Bite to Seal All Fates

Poem by ink

At a time when man was truly free

The forbidden apple

Stood at the tallest tree

Bearing such beautiful fruit

That all living things came to see

It was said to contain knowledge of how this world came to be

But beware for even a single taste will rip you of this harmony

Yet Eve didn't listen

for the serpent whispers sweet words

to hasten without hesitation

Unable to shake the thoughts which led to temptation

There are so many temptations in this world but age teaches us which are good or bad.

    Good write Ink.
I'm not sure if it was the tallest tree, or if it was an apple tree (it don't say!). I think it was set in the middle of the garden though.

Oou very true it was indeed an Apple Tree

But it don't say it was an apple tree, unless it's in some Apocryphal writing - books that did not make it into the Bible, being spurious or odd in some places, but still with some useful things in them.
It could have been though. If not, what else may it have been?

Temptation is temptation per se but did humanity need it camoflaged in the mumbo jumbo version christianity inflicted upon us in the bible?
