In Ghosts I Never Believed

Edthepoet

I've heard whispers of forgiveness
Seen hopelessness set free
Trying to make sense of
Dreams of what could have been
As my mind silently screams

Oh how I wish you could see
In tall gestures of empathy
You've grown as blind as me

Since I was a child
Through haunted memories
Stranded out in the wild
In ghosts I never believed
.....Until you become
One to me.

I've tasted flavours of salvation
Held exoneration closely
Trying to make sense of
Dreams of what could have been
As my soul slowly bleeds

Oh how I know you believe
In warm gestures of honesty
You've grown as cold as me

Since I was a child
Through haunted memories
Stranded out in the wild
In ghosts I never believed
.....Until you become
One to me

Good words Ed, maybe that ghost will become reality one day.

how pitifully bleak your perspective of reality: reads...
but still, what a wonderful write you've Chosen to share with the world,
    thank you

Lovers turning into strangers is a pitifully bleak situation I guess haha. Its all made up, all inspired by a song I was listening to. My perspective of reality is positively upbeat..considering. Thank you for reading and feeding back, much appreciated.
