Who are we?
the ultimate conundrum
comprised of 90 percent star dust
hydrogen atoms born in the big bang
nearly fourteen billion years ago
hydrogen carbon nitrogen oxygen iron sulfur
dust from dying exploding stars
a complex biological machine
topped by an unfathomable mind
yet utterly unimportant
with a life span of 0.000000005
of the age of the universe
and still
we think we are uniquely important
masters of our domain
know-it-all’s with imagination
when in fact
all we are
is an iota of dust

Very true Fred, we are merely a speck in the Universe.
Andy
No matter how big or small a speck is a speck and could always have more life than we currently know...
Couldn't help it but the reply and thanks is underneath lol
Thanks Andy! And does the Universe care about that little speck?
Wow... everything and nothing all in one place. Insignificant yet can feel all the universe on the tip of our fingers!
