Ephemeral

FredPeyer

nature does not

own anything

everything is

ephemeral

birth

growth

death

decay

we are born

then we die

but we do not

accept nature

in our lives

we crave

permanence

we fight

even kill for

ownership

unable to

let go

unwilling to

admit the

transience

of everything

we should

become one

with nature

embrace

the nothing

to gain

everything

I think you clearly identify how mankind has attempted to detach itself from the natural laws of existence. Hence we are destroying the planet.

So profound. This must go into my favourites.

          'but we do not
          accept nature
          in our lives
          we crave
          permanence
          we fight
          even kill for
          ownership
          unable to
          let go
          unwilling to
          admit the
          transience
          of everything'
agree with your sentiments in these words completely: acceptance is key,
mind you that doesn't mean we simply surrender though...
thanks for sharing an insightful perspective of existence - in general, but more importantly - a realisable mindset to guide our lives and what meaning we can glean from our experiences, ephemeral - indeed...

Thanks so much L.B., your comment made my day. It does get lonely up on that palmtree.
