There was that light,
It was flashing on Alexa,
Something was due to arrive.
So I asked Alexa,
“What are my notifications?”
The reply totally surprised me,
It said:
“A shipment including Beethoven
Is due to arrive today.”
I must admit I was expecting some CDs,
CDs by Beethoven,
But I was not expecting Ludwig himself.
I await expectantly.

- Comment from author about the poem: My daughter has started to get very interested in Beethoven so I bought her the entire Beethoven collection instead of her waiting for my collection.

Remember you are supposed to be shielding. Whatsmore Ludwig Van wotsit isn't in your bubble either.
OMG where has all this mad language come from..... bloody tories ! Wait, NO ....I'll take that back. If the other lot were in we'd all be dead and at war with Israel too.
Yes I am shielding but apart from my daughter who is in my bubble in reality there are many more in my bubble: Mozart, Chet, Beethoven, Miles, Tchaikovsky, Rick Braun, Max Richter, Weather Report to name but a minimal collection.
How do you know when a politician is lying? Their lips move!

Good write Gold.
Sometimes I don't understand giving in Wills. Those who will benefit have to wait until we are ........ departed. And us two are at least 950 years old, since Hastings. They need the dough now, if we decide to give to Charities, etc.
They do not have to wait, we can help them all the time.

Yes, true Gold. Dunno what the fuss is about. If we added water to certain things, it would last longer, and save us money! lol.
Ha ha - - would it not have been more than exciting if Ludwig delivered them --- chuckling at that shipment description but just loving the music.
It certainly would have been Fay, but unfortunately he didn't.Andy
Coeee! You still waiting? I'm still waiting for the No.7 bus. Well, I was. I waited 3 hours, then some one told me 'It don't run on Fridays!' Doh!
That No. 7 bus didn't arrive in 1066 either to take you away!
Andy
That'll be the bus that goes to the Mad House.
Fun read Goldfinch.
Thank you Jerry.
