I cannot live without you

Nor do I want to try.

Can you feel me waiting

For our souls to meet?

So many things I need to tell you,

And other things I wish you knew.

How I wish I had the courage

To get them off my chest.

If I could be where you are,

And fate was kind to me,

Maybe you would see me

For who I am inside.

baby steps: yielding great rewards,
beauty of 'Poetry' is that you can disguise a lifetime's worth of laments in your depiction of ice cream and cake, if you so choose
dive-in and let your pen guide your path to that relief, accumulated by voicing once hidden truth's...
take your time, read the masters and write
till your pen glides with that 'ease of mind'
you've mined: from within...
