What Words?

Goldfinch60

What words shall I write today?

Shall they show the love I have

For being alive in these Strange Times,

Or the glory I see with My River.

Shall it be the sadness surrounding us

In this dreadful time,

Where so many are suffering,

And many are dying.

Those better times will return

And we will meet our friends,

And be able to touch them,

Laugh with them,

Love life with them.

So what words shall I write today?

Those words are these words,

There WILL be better days soon.

    Good write Gold.
You walking that River? Or just seeing it for now, with the floods?

    • Goldfinch60

Thanks Orchi, cannot see where My River's edge is at the moment, all the fields around it are flooded.

The way we can make these trying times better, is by easing the pain of those a little less fortunate, for as you said, there WILL be better days soon.

      • Goldfinch60

Thank you Suresh, yes there WILL be better days.

Andy, sometimes words are not enough, sometimes they are too much. You found the right ones.

there will indeed be better days ahead of that I am quite certain ... and I am also glad I chose to call in today, so that you might remind me ....
