Sun Kissed

Dove

THE SUN LIGHT  WAS PEERING

THROUGH THE WINDOW

ITS SOFT BEAMS OF LIGHT

WAS CARESSING YOUR FACE

KISSING YOUR EVERY EYELASH

YOU WERE A SIGHT TO BEHOLD

AS OUR EYES SOFTLY MET

MY HEART SKIPPED A BEAT

I KNEW IN THAT MOMENT

I LOVED YOU

Beautiful love poem, dove! I am tempted to plagiarize it and write it to my wife. šŸ™‚ (Just kidding with a little bit of truth)

Awe , blush! It does lend itself to the male perspective!

I shall write your words down and carry it with me
            in the hope, that someday
            I find someone worthy
            of being serenaded
            with such enticingly mesmeric words...
            a great write!

            • Dove

Awe dear Mek, I often say the same words!
If only I had a poet lover, who blessed me with his poetic words

Iā€™m honored, you enjoyed my words And found my verse worthy

I came back in the hope of feeling the flutter of displaced wind on my shoulder from the downbeat of your wings ....... and of course because I kinda like being sun kissed................................................
