Spring morning

willow tree

Do you see it ?

All of the loveliness

and splendour  of this day

Held on the belly of the land

Our riotous sun

Calling up the snow drops, the daffodils the crocus

Lighting the kindling in your heart

Calling up your own petals to

bloom a golden garden full of promise

I wish I did see it! In this blessed lockdown world I am shielding, deprived of the world waking in preparation for glorious springtime. And this approaching one year of deprivation.

Bring on my 2nd innoculation jab that I may venture forth and absorb the spirit of your fine words in the flesh.

Can you have a walk outside ? Fresh air and space you should be fine ?? Sounds awful !! Roll on the second jab !

Reckon I did see it - in some places anyway!

I already have daffodils blooming in my garden so Spring is certainly close.
