Trusting Through Troubles

Tune: Love Unknown

('My song is love unknown')

Psalm 25 v.15-22

*******

My eyes are ever to

The LORD, He shall renew

Me, take my feet from net

That my enemies set

Turn unto me, LORD, have mercy

On me, I lonely, troubled be

The troubles of my heart

And enlarge, LORD, impart

Your help to me, and bring

Me out, so I shall sing

That you do save me from distress

You protect me and do me bless

Look on my affliction

And my pains, e'en each none

And forgive all my sins

Wash and cleanse me within

Consider, LORD, my enemies

They are many, LORD, hear my pleas

O keep my soul safely

Deliver me freely

Let me not be ashamed

And not be falsely blamed

For I do put my trust in you

By eye of faith I do you view

I pray integrity

And righteousness keep me

Preserve me, for I wait

On you, LORD, not on fate

Redeem, O God, your Israel

From all their troubles, save them well

Oh lord, please give Orchi an enquiring mind so that he may see through the fog christianity has placed before him.

      • orchidee

But I might be in a fog without it!

Very nice! Especially the second part.

Thanks Greg. We had Assemblies at School, but not Mass. Lovely Primary School days, a Christian headmaster and wife, also a teacher there, though not a 'Church School'.
