A Day out in Brighton

heatherbee

Sand and shingles in my toes.
Stripes of deckchairs in a row.
Now it's time to take a dip
Then it's time for fish and chips.
Seagulls squarking way up high then they swoop and take a dive.
Shall we walk along the pier
Fun fair rides make you sick with fear
But then theres candy floss all pink and bright
Sunburnt faces what a fright
Ice cream time to cool us down
Oh how I love this seaside town

Wonderful memories for me Heather, living in the Midlands (used to live in Kent) now is a long way from any seaside.

      Good write heather.
Dunno why it needed to be marked at 18+, unless it was about the nudist beach at Brighton! Swoon! heehee.

You could untick the 18+ box. I have an imaginary dog on here, Fido. He barks if people do NOT mark poems 18+ which should be! Me being eccentric. lol.
