2 Corinthians 8 v.7-9

Paul to Corinthians did say

As you abound in every way

In faith, speech, diligence, and love

Graces given from God above

 

He said to see that you abound

In grace of giving too, and sound

But not command, see example

Of others, and follow them all

 

And to prove that your love, it be

Sincere, in giving wholesome, free

Knowing the grace of our Lord, He

jesus Christ, Son of God, he be

 

That though He was rich, yet for your

Sakes did empty His treasure-store

Became poor, that through His poverty

You might share His true riches, see
