I look out the window
And see the snow,
See each individual flake
As they fall gently from the sky
Into my world
Showing me that individuals matter
And that crowds can only bring sorrow
As they gather together and become one,
Their individuality rescinds
Into the mind of the many.
But when stepping away
Into your life as one
You move into that world,
Where snowflakes fall
One at a time.

Good write Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
No blame (your comment) accrues with you here Andy – only the stultifying and potentially dangerous effect crowds can (not necessarily will) have. Would you accept my judgement of this as a parable, succinct and nicely polished?
Thanks also for the music.
Yes Dave of course I accept your judgement, thank you for your comment.
Andy
but my friend, you've also seen the majesty of that white carpet, those individual flakes paint the earth with, when they truly choose
'to join together': as equals...
(such, be
life's unrequited bane of commonality
within Nature's: cyclical, cynicism of duality
while all existence is tethered
a mere coin flip's - breadth
to empathy's mercy...)
a wonderful read Andy,
thanks for inspiring my little reply
Thank you Mek, so glad that I can tweak your inspiration.

Nice work Andy. Love a good snow fall! ❄️☃️
Thank you John, snow can be such an inspiring part of Nature's beauty.

I enjoyed it -yet why do crowds bring sorrow ?
Thank you Willow. Yes why do crowds bring sorrows, once day they will bring happiness.
Andy
Thought provoking and neat
Thank you Jonathan, much appreciated.

Your analogy of a single flake (each flake being truly unique) to individualism is unparalleled, and more when so poetically stated
Thank you ms, so very kind.

Beautiful metaphor, Andy. We are unique, each of us, but also belong to humanity with all its beauty and sorrow. Well written!
Thank you Fred, yes we are each unique and that diversity can bring both good and bad into our lives.
