My valentine

heatherbee

we are two of a kind

like peas in a pod

We both are so different.

We are very odd.

We may bicker and fight, but I tell you I love you every night.

There may not be flowers or chocolates galore.

Or a romantic meal and a slow dance on the floor.

But a cuppa at breakfast and supper too

That's enough to say.

I LOVE YOU.

And ain't that just the way it is. Heartfelt and honest without the frilly bits. Love knows what it is and needs no firework display.

What a brilliantly relatable dedication you've penned dear Poet
so grounded, as true as that feel of grass in your grasp, as wonderous as that sunshine warmth on your cheeks: whilst toiling over your fields...
            superheroes all: who
            choose to do add value
            to everything in their lives
by simply, admiring it - for what it is
            not needing to glorify
or valuate, in order to appreciate...
