Gratitude to God for gratis blessings

🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

From the bottom of my heart
I thank you God
for the honey bee🐝
for all that liquid gold
that's bought and sold
It's precious honey from its tiny womb🍯
Yes Allah bless thy crispy honeycomb.
In Holy Quran honey's described
as a liquid of healing!
So in gratitude to God
I'm bowing and kneeling .🕌

And thankyou God for bleating sheep🐏'
for their soft warming fluffy wool
or the cold makes the babies weep
as they need warm clothes when cool.

Thankyou Allah for the
Mother hen
for its sizzling omelettes and scrambled eggs🥚🥚
and for delicious tikka tandoori drumstick legs!

And God alone we should be thanking
for the calf's milk that we are sharing and taking
for milkshakes, and cakes that are baking🍼🥛🍰

And thankyou Allah for the little silkworm🐛
Silken dresses have long been the norm

Be thankful to God for deer's musk,
and chops and steaks of venison 🦌
And for roasted lamb or brie mutton 🐐🐏🥩🍖

Gratitude to God for slippery, flippery fishes🐋🐟🐠🦈🐬
for tasty succulent seafood dishes🦐
We need the omega 3 fatty acids found in fish fillets🐠
Thank Him before frying them in pans and skillets.

Thank you God for all that's a meal
From paneer cheese to grilled calf's veal

Last but not least, thank God for the myriad fruits and vegetables 🥕 🍉🍊
He alone created for our salads, these nutritious, edible eatables

I will just say, a fine write Z, though I don't see Allah as God myself.
I'm not getting caught up in the 'debate' on here though.

    • 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

Ah it wasn't Allah that caused the debate here, dusk was a ranting against God whatever name you call Him. Allah is the name of God in the Arabic, aramaic and hebrew bibles as well so it just means God.
I hope you are a theist at least too as your writes show. Thanks so much for comment.

      • orchidee

        No, I'm not atheist = anti-theist.

the creator of life and all it`s goodness that it brings...a lovely thank you poem to god

      • Samer Amin

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful poem.

I just want to point out two miraculous Quranic verses about the navigation of bees, and how new scientific research has proven the superior ability of the bee navigation system and their amazing capabilities in searching for nectar and communicating this information to their colleagues.

        [16:68] Saheeh International

And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct.

        [16:69] Saheeh International
Then eat from all the fruits and ''Follow The Ways Of Your Lord Laid Down'' [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

A new study by Srinivasan’s team confirms that bees do look to the sky—even if the sun is obscured by clouds—to collect directional data from polarized light. Foraging bees pass these directions on to their fellow bees through a waggle dance.

It is well known that bees steer by the sun, adjusting their compass as it moves across the sky, and then convert that information into instructions for other bees by waggling their body to signal the direction of the honey.

It is also known that bees can find the honey source even on cloudy days when the sun isn't visible.

Other laboratories have shown from studying their eyes that bees can see a pattern of polarized light in the sky even when the sun isn't shining.

        • 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

Woww thanks soo much for adding to my knowledge with this scientific info, i love reading of scientific data as this, and i admire the Holy Quran, the bees and science so your intellectual proofs delight me so. Best wishes poet, i will use the research you gave in a poem someday, will credit you for showing me it. Thanks again!

          In the name of Allah,
          most benevolent,
          ever-merciful.

Let your poem stand for itself and comments stand for themselves.
          An enjoyable write.

          • 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

Wow poet Jerry, you are so knowledgeable to know that every chapter of Quran begins with the name "beneficent and merciful God,. Thanks soo much for a great delightful comment,!. Best wishes and would love to read yours too.

My god is always with me but my god is not the one of any organised religions.

            • 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

Ahh gosh but what do you think of my poem? And the blessings i write of? Your concept of God gave those blessings right? Thanks for comment any way. I don't call my religion organised though, i call it balanced and natural divine religion, latest in a series of divine ones. Cheers n peace.

it is a divine gift to view reality within such a blinkered scope of existence, cherish it - wholeheartedly..
but please Choose to promote Peace, over - enraged confrontations, destabilising through reactive vehemence, in the face of those that choose wrongly - to knowingly, antagonise and bait you - away: from that grasped acceptance and serenity, you spent so long mining from within..
let us instead find room to respect each other, whatever our belief systems dear Poet,
you write so eloquently, may that be enough of a treasured gift..
Choose to trust, in the wisdom of humility:
              'Peace be unto you'
              'Wa-Alaikum-Salaam', indeed!

              • 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

Wow aye thanks ever soo much for your very eloquent awesome comment, a great read in itself.
I want to be sure if i understood you correctly. You say that it is a gift to view reality despite it being a blinkered scope of existence, you mean life is tough and on a precipice yet it is still a gift right? Im glad you cherish it positively.
And woww i was just sitting admiring how you state that that one poet who deleted his angry ranting comments was baiting and antagonising us away from our grasped acceptance of theism and the resultant serenity. Wow thanks, in all admiration how you phrased it meaningfully.
And yes im big about respecting each other, im very much for peace im gonna delete my reactions too to that poet coz the answers were just for his irrational unreasonable ranting eyes but they weren't venting and aggressive.
I dont write as eloquently as you do though.
But i trust and follow in the wisdom of humility and am always humble though i may try to reason and explain.
Peace, thanks soo much and best wishes,

From one who does not pray or practice any religion, and who (fortunately) missed whatever nasty comments you received that some are referring to, I am blessed to bask in the beautiful humility of this poem-prayer. It reminds me of the familiar little grace my father's passed on to him: Thank you for the world so sweet, thank you for the food we eat, thank you for the birds that sing, thank you God for everything, Amen. I love your inventive, playful rhymes and the obvious sincerity of your words. Bon appetite!

                  • 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

Aye yeah poet dusk and i deleted our arguments on this for sake of being peaceful and not appear argumentative.
Trust me this poem does not require you to be a believer and theist as such, but you do mention God so you can enjoy it two ways. It was more for bon appetite yeahhh you got it right, and blessings. I loved and enjoyed your grace poem so much as well.
Im glad you spotted the humility and sincerity in this and and noticed my playful attitude while writing. Thanks soo much for an invaluable great comment!

Ah, well Dusk strikes me as a sweetheart who enjoys a verbal sparring match. But would always shake hands and go have a pint (or a mango juice) with you after.

                      Absolutely Love it 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷😸! Don
Plus this Poem caused me to chuckle at the same time I all of a sudden got hungry for all of the listed items, vegetables and all.

Side note here for you if you are a Lord of the Rings fan. The food in this movie called elven bread that is all encompassing nutritious and good tasting is like the Honey Comb with the Honey. I think 95% of all of what we humans need in vitamins & minerals & such is in the Honey Comb. Counting it is "good" food and a good source of being anti bacteria or virus type remedy. Point being it is like the eleven bread in the Movies.
                      Praise the Good Lord indeed.

                      • 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

Hii Awhec, glad i could make yah hungry, welcome to our humble home with yer family, for some tandoori brie then.
And woww very interesting what you said about honey being in the lord of the rings, and that great true info you gave about honey being superfood yeahh.
It has been really helpful in virus times, as all of us got more flu than in normal times.
And i like how you glorified the Lord to conclude your fine super comment.
                        Thanks so much for comment.

By the way did you know that the 1st meal Jesus had after resurrecting from the dead was Honey & Fish with a little Wine to wash it all down. Because Honeycomb is a very most complete food. Don

                        • 🐤s.zaynab.kamoonpuri🌷🐦😽

Hii, Thanks for a very interesting comment !. Nice to know Jesus had honey. Yet wine i read he discouraged it and ceased to drink it saying he would drink it in heaven .
