New Door.

Goldfinch60

I awake from my slumber

Before dawns early light,

Get up from my bed

And open the door to a new day.

Yesterday has passed away,

The door closed on that day,

That unique day of wonder

Where I existed once more.

There have been many closed doors

On each day of my life

Where my world was good to me,

That is why I am still here.

Beyond this new door is joy

As I go into this new day,

Knowing that my life is good,

And each new day will be wonderful.

Now then, don't forget to oil the hinges. The best lubricant you can use is called 'living'.

    • Goldfinch60

So true d a, there is a great deal of 'living' on my doors.

      Good write Gold.
You at Buckingham Palace or somewhere, opening those 26,400 doors?!
Alas, in 1066 - when one door opened, another one slammed in my face - I mucked it all up, by turning up! lol.

Thanks Orchi, too many doors at Buckingham Palace.

I should have closed the door to keep you out in 1066.

You said it well, Andy. We do have to start each new day with a positive attitude.

Thank you Fred, I always do.
