Tune: Fountain
('There is a fountain filled with blood')
Ephesians 1 v.7-12
**********
Redeemed by Christ, 'tis through His blood
A sparkling, cleansing flood
It be forgiveness of our sins
Washed away from within
Washed away from within
Washed away from within
It be forgiveness of our sins
Washed away from within
It by the riches of His grace
God's favour we do trace
In this He does to us abound
His wisdom, prudence found
His wisdom, prudence found
His wisdom, prudence found
In this He does to us abound
His wisdom, prudence found
Has made known to us mystery
Of His will to us, see
It agrees with His good pleasure
Purposed from His treasure
Purposed from His treasure
purposed from His treasure
it agrees with His good pleasure
Purposed from His treasure
It be that in fullness of times
End of life's seasons, rhymes
He might gather in one all things
In Christ, perfection brings
In Christ, perfection brings
In Christ, perfection brings
He might gather in one all things
In Christ, perfection brings
In Christ also we have obtained
An inheritance named
It be through God's pre-destiny
His mercies to us be
His mercies to us be
His mercies to us be
It be through God's pre-destiny
His mercies to use be
It be according to purpose
Of God, He works for us
Great things, he works by the counsel
Of His own will things all
Of his own will things all
Of His won will things all
Great things, He works by the counsel
Of His own will things all
So we should be unto the praise
Of God's glory, and raise
Thanks and worship, in Christ trusting
He does redemption bring
He does redemption bring
He does redemption bring
Thanks and worship, in Christ trusting
He does redemption bring

In your hymn composition life did you ever have a punk period?
(and are there any photos)
I'm rather 'Ye Olde' writer, harking back to 4th Century AD hymns at times, though the Psalms were written around 11th Century BC!
I was hoping to see a pic of you and Fido dressed in binliners and with spikey green hair singing good king wenceslas looked out on the feast of aggro, where the skinheads stood about, shouting you're a slag-oh etc....
Hmm, I don't know that version....!
Very interesting and beautiful composition! Well done, orchie!
Thanks Fred. There's a 'slower' tune to it too, without extra repeat lines. Both may be suitable
Uplifting write, Orchi.
Thanks Jerry.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
