fantastic things | draft 2

Noah Malice

i have seen the most fantastic things

come and go like wild dreams

but even stars as bright as they seem

fade away by morning light

and i have read those fairy tails

followed footsteps of those mighty trails

walked miles in shoes i could not fill

but miles i walked them still

i have looked down into my soul

and seen darkness like a black hole

but even though thunderclouds roll

i will still stand up and fight
