Jerry Reynolds

Never Enough

From a cage in their spirit
Bursts a rage of swallows
Wolfing everything in site
While still in flight.

Though great the trying
Hungry can’t be served
Not for lack of caring-
Can’t satisfy the birds.

Some people are never satisfied, or is it birds? Insatiable appetites, or is it desires? a real mind bender Jerry. - Phil A.

Having read these words long after my supper and while waiting for breakfast, they really carried a hefty punch and hit home hard ...

I shall maybe skip lunch today ........ enjoyed by me ....................... N
