feelings

justbereal

I hear her pleads.

They are discreet

I hear her  floorboards creek

When she wakes up to take a seat

A seat in her sorrow

I lend her my shoulder

But her tears are deafening

her countless tears amounting for the pain she carries

I wish I was a fairy

bring her all the joy she desires

ignite her with a fire, that she once did carry

prior to asking me whether I asked her in helping her to bury the hatchet

I did but she replied' I will bury the hatchet when it comes to me. '

Little did I know peace was inflicted in her but not him.

The poem touches the reader strongly. I thought the poem was full of despair and a yearning to be seen and felt. There was a loneliness in the words. Great job.

        'I wish I was a fairy
bring her all the joy she desires
ignite her with a fire, that she once did carry'
wonderful tone and flow throughout, what is an intriguing and yet instinctively relatable write, a somewhat analytical and removed depiction of seemingly aching turmoil within relationship's and some commentary on what effect they have over our sense of self,
touching on that aspect of disassociation with ourselves at different milestones and our tendency to romanticise 'the who' we used to be prior to living through traumatic experiences,
a really well executed write, in my humble opinion another worth rereading to try and unravel its mysteries, I'm not sure how much of your nuanced meaning I grasped, still it was a joy to try
        thanks for sharing dear poet
