there

dusk arising

       there
            i found a place
            where the dunes
            fall to the beach
            and watched
            afternoon turn
            as families strayed homeward

       there.
            to think
            and feel

                  reflect
                  and cry.

            to finally
            accept.

                   there is
                   no why.

There certainly is no why, the ongoing unanswerable question in our lives.

Thanks for the reminder. No ifs.
, No but no coconuts. Leave the why's to the clouds and let them drift on by!

  • L. B. Mek

no rhyme or reason, to unfolding these twisted string's to our collective fates,
    so 'why' waste time
in futile contemplation, when we are better served reacting and beginning: our path to overcoming..
    a meaningfully poignant write Dusk
