Tune & Hymn: 'Will your anchor hold?'
Psalm 42 parts
********
As the hart pants after the water brooks
So pants my soul for you, not forsook
Am I by you, O God, my soul does thirst
For God, the living God, put Him first
Chorus
Why are you downcast, O my soul,? Why
Disquieted in me? Hope by and by
In God, for I shall yet praised Him, for
He my salvaiton, and He my God sure
When shall I come and before God appear?
Asured again of His presence near?
My tears as as my food through day and night
Where is your God? enemies incite - Chorus
When I remember these things, then do I
Poiur out my soul, good days have gone by
When I went with many to God's Temple
Rejoiced and praised you ther with them all - Chorus
Deep calls unto deep, LORD, see my distress
Though o'erwhelmed by your waves, I confess
That you will command your loving-kindness
Send it to me again, will me bless - Chorus
And in the dark times His song, it shall be
With me, and I shall pray constantly
To Him, the God of my life, to Him say
My Rock, forget me not, night nor day - Chorus
