Tide

Brimelow

You’re back
You always come back
You’re always moving while I stay still
I know you love this shore
You always come back

When you’re here, I’m teeming with life
There’s surfing and dashing and leaping and splashing!
There are spills and thrills and gills and chills!
We flow and glow and dive and thrive!

You take pieces of me and feed them to the sea
then bring them back richer than before

My holes are covered
My mud shines blue
The light shines through
When I’m with you

You’re back
You always come back

Then you go away
You always go away

One day that person may be back forever and you will be "surfing and dashing and leaping and splashing" together all the time.
