Tune: Newcastle
('Eternal Light! Eternal light!')
Psalm 94 v.17-23
**********
Unless the LORD had my help been
My soul, it would be seen
That it would near in silence dwell
Not praises of my LORD forth tell
But He has dealt me well
When I said, my foot slips, then your
Mercy held me up sure
O LORD, among my thoughts many
Your comforts do keep them steady
My soul's delight they be
Shall throne, dominion of sin
Have fellowship therein
With you, LORD? they to mischief yet
And still are unrepentant set
Though I not fear nor fret
Against the righteous they gather
Against innocent stir
But the LORD He is my defence
My God, rock of my refuge hence
He shall defeat them thence
He shall bring on them their own sins
Which they did each begin
Shall cut them off, their wickedness
Destroy them, but righteous shall bless
They saved by Him, no less

Tut at that last verse. Your god of destroying one and saving the other. But jesus said turn the other cheek.
Thanks dusk. It seems some will never change (verse 3 also), then the judgement comes in.
Well written, Orchi.
Thanks Jerry.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
I get judgement every morning, at least I am not the only one!
Thanks Fred. 'Judgement' can sometimes be in the sense of 'use your own judgement', discernment, use ya own brain cells - I have about three! lol.
