Who Lights The Way?

aDarkerMind

who lights the way

for the fearless? the brave?

who darkens the light

for who lives in a cage?

who walks by the side

of an unwanted bride?

who runs with a sea

with its now widowed tide?

who smiles upon anger

when calmness has gone?

who cries with the choir

through the mists evensong?

who is the Father

of the Son richly blessed?

who is the Mother

of the Daughter oppressed?

who brings us our Death

when we least expect?

who gifts us a life

no force dare intercept?

who asks the questions

now all answers have gone?

who has the right

to decide all that is wrong?
