Nothing Would I Change.

Goldfinch60

I walk along that path,

That path I have trodden

For so many years.

Looking back, that path

Is so long.

It had its ups,

It had its downs,

But each step walked

Took me further,

Further into my life,

Until I came to here

Where I am today,

Realising that that path

Has shown me wonder,

So much wonder

Of a good life.

So that looking back

I think,

Would I have changed,

Changed anything

In the life I have lead,

And the answer comes,

Nothing would I change.

Why did I turn up? You saw me coming up that beach - only to muck it all up! I travelled by boat. Why didn't it sink before I arrived?! lol

such vehemence within self-willed positivity, what an example you provide for us to cultivate and hopefully, someday - realise..

              Beautiful music!
Andy, I think all of us 'geezers' do look back on our lives and ask ourselves this question. I am with you, wouldn't change a thing even though there were some hard times. Thank you for making me think about it again.

Thank you Fred, I was talking to a good friend of mine yesterday about this and he came to the same conclusion.
