Metro Mornings
So many
Early morning metro faces
Naked
Fading
Orange
Arc light and haloed …
So wave
Goodbye to winter for me
Darling
Since I am still a stranger
Surely …
Yet familiar
With approaching dawn …

Good write N.
Will she wave goodbye to me? Have I even met her?! heehee.
... thank you Orchidee .. who knows, if you smile nicely and wag ya tail, she might 🙂
I thought you may have meant those lurve messages in the Metro paper. Do you know them?! 'I noticed you across the crowded train; fancy a drink?' thingy.
I nearly missed dawn this morning, half the day seemed to have gone when I awoke at 6:10 am.
Andy
I've been on storm watch for the best part of the night ... anxious not to sustain any thatch damage before we move to our new place on 25th ... Oops, sorry Andy .. Cheers sir and all that jazz ...
A face tells a thousand stories when dawn-wakened it begins a new day - so expertly put in these few lines as always are the reasons love survives wintery times . - - - every line has a reminder and must keep this among my faves...,,,,...,x
... I am more than honoured by your ever so kind and encouraging review Fay ... thank you so much ... x

(a wonderfully paced write
of self-mined positivity, cloaked within wisdom's reality of tempered practicality, my friend..
as always, thank you for inspiring my little scribbled reply)..
intertwined, tracks connecting our stations of life, like our season's
let us boldly welcome
each new chapter
of our horizon's dawn, by greeting it with the practised smiles
of our survival's resolve
gripping un-surrendered dreams
that nurture, our hope fuelled deeds..
............ I seriously reckon you should save up and publish your amazing reviews my friend .. I am sure it would be a best seller .. No kiddin .. a very grateful me ..............
"Good by to winter" a lovely line Neville. You all laid back under a thatched roof and me a dawn away looking for the first Crocus.
... thank you Jerry,
we are moving to an old property that thankfully does not have thatch .. its too much trouble to maintain on a pension ... got loads of crocus though ...
So beautiful! Arc light and haloed! So Angelic the skies
.... ........................................................ thank you no end my dear poetic friend ...........
................ Neville
I envision a yawning sky, naked, as the darkness fades and the hidden suns’ light reflects the orange luster of the dawning day.
Maybe I am just bats!
................. What a wonderful eye you have .. Many thanks my friend ............. Neville
