Harry and his Meghan Markle
He has royalty she has sparkle
They opened up their hearts to Oprah
With controversial views to offer
Heartfelt thoughts she would unbridle
With claims that she was suicidal
Likewise she did then report
That she was offered no support
And worse their claims of racism
A potential damning criticism
And now they live in the USA
Unsure if they’ll leave or stay
Some believe all that they claim
And with the palace lies the blame
Others do not believe a word
Their accusations too absurd
But do we really give a damn
It’s nought but tabloid flim and flam
There are issues more desirous
Like the impact of the virus
Reducing earnings and isolation
Of greater import for the Nation

The sparkle has gone, me suspects. Why he ever married her, I don't know. Is she to blame entirely?
Thanks orchidee for taking the trouble to comment - I suspect that she is not to blame entirely -all such an unnecessary mess!
Yes, and as you say, we've deffo got more important things to be concerned with these days.
society's conformity within
collective wilful ignorance, is a scary thing to witness, daily..
perfectly surmised commentary!
Thanks for your comment LBN - a scary thing to witness indeed.
Dead correct - tabloids fill in their space with this flim flam in order to avoid the news that the world is going to hell in a handbasket...
Great rhymer, Cmister
Thanks for your comment DD - I agree that we should have more relevant news
It is so true that this is flim flam for the tabloids to distribute.
There is more important news out there and much of what is good news but the good news we do not see reported.
Andy
very meaningful write... royal people have their own set of problems... but, the poor-folk, they have to work day and night for both ends to meet! racism is absolute madness...
Thanks for your comment premji premji ... I agree with you that the poor-folk have it worse.
Go well
John
