Tune: Duke Street
('Fight the good fight')
Psalm 62 parts
**********
Truly my soul upon God waits
I trust in Him, not luck or fates
For from Him comes my salvation
Trust in Him, you His daughter, son
He only is my rock and my
Salvation, His presence e'er nigh
He my defence and my strong tower
Ready to hear, help every hour
I shall no be shaken greatly
Firm on Him, my rock, my stand be
My soul, wait you on God only
For my hope sure from Him it be
To the Lord God belongs power
And mercy, for He does render
Unto each one according to
The work they in their lives so do

... I reckon 8's are a bit like busses or taxi's ..
Never around when ya need one, but when ya quit waiting .. ya get four in a row ....
... Super Sunday to you Steven ....
🙂
Thanks N. Doh! I forgot the clip. Adding it now...... Them four 8's in a row are know as Long Metre or LM. I could have saved four by just saying 'Long Metre'. Matters of major importance here - not!
Orchi, this is fine praise indeed from you and for all of us regardless of our perception of what god is, religious or not.
Thanks dusk. Can the same be said for waiting for the No.7 bus?!
Works out the same matters not the way you turn them. Good Sunday read, Orchi.
Thanks Jerry.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold. Did you spot one of my well-known wedding hymns to KP there in the clip?!
