Bounty

Fay Slimm.

  Bounty.

Watch with me this crystal-clear vale

complete with cobbled liquid beauty.

Wonder as stone, once randomly freed

tumbled and fell into orderly chaos

where water now pours between

every crack and rock shoulders

downward to meet flat-faced

pooling where fish flash fins.

Celebrate nature's near- foreverness

of continual industry as bird lands

and stares at chances of insect

feed beneath myriad pebbles

amid droplet-dance rattle

on boulder-made lake.

Sing with me this sacred-still place

making its bounty into music.

    Good write Fay.

Ouch! Was that Orchi singing too or another falling rock.

How easily I slip into these scenes you create Fay. I could feel the damp air from the water falling to the rocks, see the ever hunting birds too.

I understand dear Fay, although I haven't been to a lot of waterfalls in my life, I can appreciate that majestic quality they resonate, which you've captured with such impassioned words in your write:
'Sing with me this sacred-still place'..
    Amen!

That water pouring over the stone brings such highlight to our lives, as do your words Fay.

Amazing how water falling can create such serene images, like a brides veil as in your image, and invoke poems such as yours
