Tune & Hymn: 'Lord for the years'
Zephaniah 3 v.14-20 {Old Testament prophet}
***********
Sing, Zion, shout, O Israel, all God's people
Be glad and rejoice, e'en with the heart all
For the LORD has your judgements taken away
Cast enemy out, now salvation's day
The King of Israel, the LORD is in your midst
Now evil and disaster shall desist
In that day to His people it shall be said
Fear not, let hands not be weak, do not dread
The LORD your God in midst of you is mighty
He will save, rejoice over your freely
Will rest in His love, quieten you, give His peace
Joy over you with singing, sorrow cease
He will deal with all that do here afflict you
Save the lame, outcasts, the land they will view
When He restores them, brings them back to own land
They will have praise, fame, all by His good hand
He will restore them, and will them again bring
Back to their own land, songs to Him they sing
He will make them a praise among all people
When He shall act and release captives all
