A Paddy's Day Poem

Alex Arnot

St. Paddy's Day is here once again.

Let's share the laughter with our fake Irish friends.

Green all around, It'll make your eyes quiver.

They'll even dye a whole feckin river

For a holiday built on fictional junk

That's all an excuse to go out and get drunk.

We'll drink, we'll laugh, we'll drink and we'll play

And we won't be rememberin a ting the next day.

Once our livers are sufficiently ravaged

We'll retire home for some corned beef and cabbage.

It's Paddy not Patty, don't you forget!

Or a day o BAYTINS you will get!

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this as a tribute to Jacksepticeye's Paddy's day videos. I tried to incorporate some actual Irish slang, let me know how I did.
