Bird on my roof

Brimelow

“Tap Tap Tap”,
says the bird on my roof.
Wake up.
It’s a beautiful day,
you should fly away and play.

“Chirp Chirp Chirp”,
says the bird on my roof.
I’m singing too!
We sound good together,
just me and you.

I didn’t ask for you,
bird on my roof,
nor you for I,
but I’m glad you’re here,
bird on my roof...
It’s a beautiful day; let’s both fly away and play.
