Even In The Darkness.

Goldfinch60

As we go through our lives

The light occasionally goes out

But even in the darkness

We must always remember

That the full moon will show us its light

Showing to us all

That our world is never truly dark.

Your optimism shines through in every write Andy. You don't even need the moon....
And thanks again for all your music . Couldn't you do a programme on a local radio station...? Then get a rebroadcast in Sydney Australia. Love to hear it when I get the water out of my ears....

Thank you Dave, when you get given a second chance at life optimism comes with it.

Music has been there all my life, inherited from my father.

As an aside, during the war my dad was in the navy and at one point the ship he was on must have got lost as it ended up in Australia. He got to know an Australian guy who was interested in classical music, as was my dad, and this guy asked dad over to listen to some music. He asked my dad which piece of music he would like to hear, dad chose a piece the guy then asked this question "Who would you like it played by?" he must have had a vast collection as this was the time when there were only 78 rpm records.

In the pitch darkness of the night, the light of the stars shines the brightest, as I recently witnessed on the Equator in Kenya.
          Thank you for the verse
