A Beautiful Shade of Blue

Missing you 

in every wish 

and desire to be 

set free, 

 
 

Seeking that far 

and in between union 

of song and dance 

over a beautiful mar 

that sets in between you  

and sea 

 
 

And upon this chance, 

rhyming within a muse 

in between 

a signature wake  

of broken dreams 

and nostalgia 

that meets me  

at the edge of a star 

 
 

Life is an imitation  

of now and then, 

Bordering on smile  

and near reflect 

to guide us through 

 
 

For the cascades  

of life 

flow through  

a harmony  

of grace 

endured in time 

in between you 

and a beautiful shade  

of blue
