A WHITE CAR NATION

Joe Marcello

Have you looked at the automobiles in a parking lot lately

All the makes and models look the same

We are all the victims of conformity

And we only have ourselves to blame

What an apt and surprising title to this four liner Joe - - I truly agree that conformity must feel easier to those who dislike finding and being purely themselves - - - much food for thought it this little gem .

Thank so much. Very happy you like it.

To use white cars (in actuality a very logical solution to the problem of heat absorption – better times coming in form of solar cells) does pin nicely the idiot conformity which, particularly in clothing fashion, exists everywhere.
Liked it (in case you are in any doubt!) Thanks Joe.

I have no doubt. Good to hear from you.

In my neck of the woods all the cars are silver-gray! But what I see when I look at a parking lot is a culture that is committing environmental suicide.

Yes Joe - Jarcher has the larger point re the environmental costs of car ownership itself. Even electric vehicles (the hint I made in my entry above) won't solve the difficulties of congestion on the roads of oversized under utilized monsters, not to mention the resources involved in their manufacture.

Very true Joe but I can remember the times back in the 1970s/80s in the UK when every other car on the road seemed to ne yellow.
