My body many be slowly fading but my spirit is not!
As with the energy from nature I'm still loosening up
Many souls continue to wonder on & off my stage
To leave me a tribe that has foundations to be brave
Within shadows of moonlight we take a trip to begin
Knowing all answers come from tears dried on the skin
To embrace the sun and nourishment for the souls peeling
To find no foe but a friend inside every living being
Although we're individually a starlight we're also rooted in
A beautiful soundtrack to another of lifes unique string
Harmony is all around us once we join in and listen
I write these words for the days when I forget this lesson

This picture is a treasure, a poem in itself. Growing up I liked two things above all... being on horseback, and climbing trees! Finding the friend in every living soul is a fine mantra!

Reading your posts over the last few years its clear that you have grown. Writing poetry does that for people if they put their heart into it and you have truly put your heart into your words. We can all clearly see that Dan.
It's great to see you acknowledging that there will be down periods and that you are preparing yourself with new gained self knowledge and faith for those times if and when they arise.
On a side note, I have really enjoyed seeing the videos of your daughters progress as she grows. It will be joyous to watch her character developing.
Yes my friend I won't mess about, I've always taken life by the balls this my heart open wide! If you have nothing to live for you'll never truly feel that vibe...I know you know it and its why you amongst most have my deepest respect! Our knowledge is our own for us to grow but we must look for others to find out if it really fits with the soul!
I've always believed I can do whatever I set my mind too, just never used it for much! In the last 10 years or so..... I've found that is still about trust... in others and myself!
