Tune: Offertorium
('When Jesus came to Jordan')
Psalm 33 v.13-19 parts
*******
The LORD looks down from heaven
All people He sees them
From the place, [His] habitation
Looks upon each nation
Sees all their works and their ways
What they do, nights and days
Rules over all, all-seeing
The Almighty Being
He looks on inhabitants
Of earth, they may Him sense
He fashions their hearts, so be
Each individually
He considers, understands
What humans do, all lands
Nothing beyond His knowing
We humble worship bring
The eye of the LORD it is
Upon them that fear, this
Is true, them that do revere
Him, and stand in awe here
And too upon them that do
Hope in His mercy true
He delivers their souls sure
From death, famine, e'ermore
