The Prophesy

daydreaming

I know that you’re out there
But we have never met
You're starting to feel restless
Your search must now begin
The fact that you're a stranger
It doesn't mean a thing
As soon as I can hold you
It’ll all make sense to me
That’s why I keep on waiting
Don't rest 'til you're with me.

We’ve lived parallel lives
Lives not meant to intercept
I feel you're getting closer
What was foretold we must accept
You may be a world apart
Or perhaps around the corner
You may be living in the States
Or a hostile foreign country
It was written in the stars
A constellation maps your journey
There’s something missing in my life
That's why you need to come and join me.

Life’s twists and turns may seem
Unfair, random, and relentless
But soon I’ll make you see
Our lives have purpose and direction
No matter what’s our situation
We are predestined to collide
Every path you’ve ever taken
Will bring you closer over time.

Let's keep your journey simple
Don’t you dare to give up now!
We’ve waited all these years
Let this prophecy play out
Let our destiny do its magic
We will feel it in our hearts
You were born to make me happy
I've waited for you all my life.

That wait will soon be over Ed if you keep writing wonderful words like these.

So nice of you to say that. I hope that you are right. I always have hope. But for as much as I talk about feeling lonely or needing someone I am prepared to be alone and yet be happy. 🙂
