All in a word....

Poetic Dan

The word wife doesn't really say that much!

Not to the soul that's willing to help my darkness turn to light!

To have such raw beauty it could take all the air out a room

Knowing their happiness is a nourishment to fix any wounds

Yet the garden needs gentleness to handle our rooms

As a husband it is often you hurt the one's closest to you

Taking the part of me I show no one else too, saying now what will you do?

Nothing but full down to the love of your grace and forgiving tenderness.

For in one word there can be a foundation to nest

Life, was first and wife is best, this is all nothing but a never-ending test

To give action and meaning to all we hold close to our chest.

Some days I fail, some days I pass. At least I've got a ticket and making it last

Always with truth and respect in my heart
