You or Me?

Tayama

Love endures when we allow it to...

Did we?

Uphill all the time it often seemed...

Why did we?

Never seeing you in the shadows of my lives...

Why did you hide?

Fragrance left on pillows as a tease...

Why the need?

Kisses at 4am, never in the light...

Who were you afraid would see?

Clothes for little ones never unwrapped...

Were you not to comfort another besides me?

Three years in a mist of sorrowful wonder...

You lied, it was all never meant to be...

Love cant endure, when a love is only one so in love...

With a shadow of one escaping the hurt...

Why me?

In the wake of the despair that's left in the ruins of what we sought so hard to believe...

We often discard the ones, we used as a lie to never feel...

That we, and not the ones that were used, allow the tears.
