The Horse's Head

One day I woke up in my bed;
was shocked to find a horse's head.
It lay upon my pillow, still.
All I could think was, who could kill
a horse, so fine, with flowing mane;
this killer had to be insane!

    well, not really that bad although certainly strange, lol
    but depending on how light or metaphorically - deep, you want to keep it, there is room to excavate and burrow out a unique write I feel, may take a few edits and drafts I admit
